Holiday Craft: Gift Tags

Christmas is quickly approaching and we are all busy making our lists, baking our goodies, buying and wrapping presents and just enjoying the holiday season. I have been busy wrapping gifts for my family and this year I decided to personalize the gifts with some leftover wallet sized photos of my kids from my last Portrait Innovations visit.
If you are anything like me, you end up with lots of extra wallet sized photos and I never know what to do with them. This year I decided to use them as Christmas Gift tags for our loved ones. This easy craft took virtually no time to make and they turned out really cute, if I can say so myself!
Here is how I made them:
Take extra wallet sized photos and trim off the extra white around them. Glue them to fancy, glitter card stock. I used silver since I felt it went well with the winter background of our photos.
Trim the card stock to the proper size and glue the photo on to the card stock. Write who the gift is for on the back of the tag. Punch a small hole in the corner of the photo and run ribbon through the hole to attach it to your gift.
Another cute idea is to punch a hole in each corner of the photo, run some ribbon through it with the ribbon showing in front and tie. You can them display the photo on your tree as an ornament. Just add the date to the back of the photo and it makes a great gift for family members.
Haven't had time to get your holiday photos done yet? Don't worry, there is still time to book your portraits at Portrait Innovations.
