Family photos are a must-have part of my home décor! They take me back to memorable moments and priceless smiles. When life gets busy and pulls me in too many directions photos displayed in my home remind me of what’s important-my family and the joy they bring me.
I wanted to put together a family command center on our dining room wall. We needed something for organization to keep track of shopping and to-do lists, receipts, coupons, and general stuff that clutters kitchen counters. I wanted this to be something that displayed our family photos and Wisconsin pride as well.
I couldn’t be happier with how our Badger photos turned out! I had a frame made with scrapbook paper and glass pieces that I knew would be perfect for our family photo. Now when I’m making a list or checking off to-do’s I love to see our sweet little boy’s happy smile! This display really turned out to be the perfect balance of functionality and visual inspiration.
Another display I was thrilled to add more portraits to is our gallery wall in our living room. This serves as motivation for me with meaningful quotes and photos of my family.
I love that I’ve been able to chronicle our son’s growth by including a baby photo, his first Christmas and now an adorable spring photo from our session close to him turning two. We had such a great time with the photographers, they were able to get our son to smile every time they snapped a shot! You would think he was posed for the photo included in our gallery wall, but he was having such a great time that he just naturally fell into such an easy-going, happy position.
I was in love with the beautiful spring backdrop that was available and we included some shots with bunny ears and an Easter basket. When we chose our prints, I couldn’t wait to include one of the sweet little bunny photos in my mantle décor.
We also have a scrolling family tree representing our growth. I was so happy to add some more “blossoms” to it! The sweet portrait style photo our photographer captured is one of my favorites of the session!
I was so pleased with the entire experience with Portrait Innovations. We really ended up with a beautiful variety of photos. I love that we now have photos to add to our seasonal spring décor as well as ones to keep up all year! They provide such a wide range of options for photo sizes and beautiful keepsake gifts too.
We chose to include the hardcover book and the calendar in our selections of prints to give as gifts to our family we don’t see as often. It’s so convenient to be able to book our session appointment online and we’ll definitely be returning to our local Portrait Innovations studio on a regular basis as our family grows!
