Baby on the Beach: Capturing Summer Memories of Your Infant

Ahhhhhh, the beach. Sunshine on your face, a breeze through your hair, and sand in your toes. Sounds perfect, doesn’t it?
Not if you’re an infant!
Let me explain: I recently took my two-month-old baby girl to the beach with our family. It was a wonderful vacation, but I learned that taking such a young child to a sandy shore requires quite a bit of planning. I had to make sure she would have plenty of shade, full protection from the wind, and a dry, sand-free place to nap.
She ended up spending most of our beach time sleeping inside our oversized sun canopy—which worked out well, but also meant I didn’t get a single great photo of her ocean-side!
Fortunately, Portrait Innovations offers adorable beach backdrops and corresponding props that are perfect for photographing young babies who probably aren’t so fond of a real beach environment.
I put my two-month-old in a sweet summer outfit, and the amazing Portrait Innovations photographers went to work capturing some adorable sandy shots of her. I couldn’t be happier with the results!
I particularly loved the nautical-inspired netting they used, and the glimpse of the ocean in the background is just beautiful.
With Portrait Innovations’ many unique product offerings, you could add your beach memories to a water bottle (a must-have for hot summer days) or a tote bag (perfect for carting sand toys on your next beach vacation). A wrapped portrait canvas also makes a great addition to your home’s summer décor.
So if you’d love a cute beach photo of your infant—but don’t love the idea of combatting the sun, wind, and sand to get it—schedule an appointment with Portrait Innovations today! They’ll help you capture that wonderful memory of your baby on the beach, all in the comfort of their baby-friendly studio.
